Monitoring for Debian and Ubuntu servers

Linux server monitoring
without open ports.

You hear about a problem before your customers do. One calm overview of all your servers, and an alert the moment something goes wrong.

$sudo apt install rackatlas-agent

DebianUbuntusystemdHTTPSagent without root rights

Everything that matters for server health. Nothing else.

RackAtlas answers one question first: is everything fine? The details are one click away.

What's new

More than monitoring

Backups

See whether your backups ran on time. A script reports to a URL and you get a notification when one is missing.

Terminal in the browser

Open an end-to-end encrypted SSH terminal to your server without opening any port.

Passkeys and two-factor

Sign in with a passkey or an authenticator app and keep your account safe.

Docker and services

Containers and failed services next to the rest of the server data.

Maps and teams

Place servers on a map and share them with your team, each with their own notifications.

From sign-up to the first data in minutes

Frequently asked questions

What does the agent collect?
CPU, load, memory, swap, disk usage, the names and resource use of the busiest processes, failed systemd services and critical log entries. It does not read your files or application data.
Do I need to open any ports?
No. The agent sends data to RackAtlas over HTTPS once a minute. Nothing connects into your server, so your firewall stays as it is.
Which systems are supported?
Debian and Ubuntu on amd64, arm64, armhf and i386, installed from a signed apt repository.
How do I remove the agent?
Run sudo apt purge rackatlas-agent on the server and delete the server in RackAtlas.
